Japanese Spring 2014 - 33

The Japanese bee species is pretty awesome, and are not nearly as scary as the killer bees in Arizona. If the bees here are attacked by the SuzumeBachi (Giant Hornet) they smother the hornet by making a ball around it, and cooking it with the heat made by beating their wings. Pretty amazing.
Here's one on the sakura in my town. I took this last week. as of now most of the flowers are already gone.
